matura reading list (version October 23, 2017; pdf ca 340 KB)
As you can see, there is a short description for every suggested book. If you read a book which is not on the list yet, why not write a short description and have it added? In order to do so, please contact your English teacher.
Conditions
Whatever book you want to read, you must go and see your teacher about it. Only if he or she agrees with your choice, you can read the book for the oral exam. In other words, just because a book is on the list does not automatically mean that you can choose it for the exam!
Normally, students are expected to read 3 books of about 500 pages. But then again, this all depends on your teacher and what you agree on with him or her.
