Cambridge Exams
What are the Cambridge Exams?
The University of Cambridge ESOL examinations are examinations in English language ability for non-native speakers of English.
At our school, we offer preparation courses to the following exams:
First Certificate in English
The First Certificate in Englisch or CFE is one of the exams available in the University of Cambridge ESOL examination. Its possession proves one's adequacy in the English language, and its successful completion means that one is able to interact socially efficiently.
Certificate in Advanced English
The Certificate in Advanced English or CAE is the advanced general English exam provided by the University of Cambridge ESOL examination. It is considered to be very valuable, especially for international students applying to British Universities, as it is the required English exam.
Certificate of Proficiency in English
The Certificate of Proficiency in English or CPE is the most advanced exam provided by the University of Cambridge ESOL examination. The English level of those who have passed the CPE is supposed to be similar to that of a fairly educated native speaker of English.
Due to the nature of these exams, we can only prepare you to them but not test you ourselves. In other words, you have to sit the final exam at a recognised testing center somewhere in Switzerland. Also, because of that, the preparation course and the exam can not be offered for free.
